Nose

As we age the bony nasal opening in which our nose sits can widen. As a result our nose tip may move downwards.
Consultation
There are both surgical and medical ways to address nose issues. Traditionally it has been addressed surgically. Although there are non surgical methods to address these, many of them have significant risk and careful consideration of all adverse outcomes should be considered before undergoing this treatment.

Your health practitioner will discuss the process with you, and the possible side effects.
Adverse Effects
Placing implants or substances in the nose for a non surgical effect is one of the top 3 risky areas to treat. This is related to the arterial supply of the nose which connects to the arterial supply behind the eye. Although it is rare, treatment in this area can result in a blockage of an artery with the potential to cause blindness.

Given the potential adverse events, this area is best treated with a pre treatment screening of ultrasound investigation.
